POSITION:
Warehouse Attendant/Delivery Driver
Full Time - 12 months per year
Approximate Shift Time: Monday – Friday, 6:30AM – 3:00PM

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid State driver’s license – no moving violations within the past two years
Ability to (see bottom of posting for further details regarding physical requirements):
- Lift and carry 80 pounds a distance of 100 feet
- Use a delivery dolly, lift gates, or other lifting/moving aides in moving/transporting weighted boxes, furniture, and equipment between buildings and from outside of district.
- Work outdoors in full range of weather conditions
- Successfully work both, with and without supervision, follow directions and follow work assignment, work schedule and procedures
- Implement oral and written instructions, including but not limited to delivery route, bank deposit runs, cleaning schedules, work orders, setup instructions, product labels, chemical mixing and Safety Data Sheets
- Convey an attitude of respect, helpfulness, honesty, cooperation and teamwork
- Interact and communicate with staff, students, coworkers and the public in a professional, respectful, courteous and positive manner
- React promptly and effectively to multiple requests and changing, demands as they may arise in the workplace
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following is a list of the essential job functions of the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made as required by law to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential job functions.
- Prompt pick-up for interoffice mail and outgoing mail each day
- Bank deposits delivered on a daily basis in a prompt manner
- Delivery of paper, teaching materials, supplies, etc. across entire district and from outside of the district
- Moving district furniture, 1 person lift, boxes, etc. using box truck as necessary
- Responsible for operating delivery van, box truck, and equipment in a safe manner
- Certified in operating a forklift
- Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the delivery van: clean vehicle each day, preventative maintenance of delivery vehicle (check fluid levels, check tires, check lights and mirror for operation)
- Responsible for the cleaning of the campus buildings, grounds maintenance, conducting daily visual inspections and cleaning of the activity fleet vehicles.
- Serve as the Warehouse Coordinator in their absence
- Serve as a backup custodian when needed
- Snow removal, sidewalks and entry ways etc. as requested
- Other duties as assigned
FLSA Exempt Status:
Non-exempt.
At-Will Position:
This position is an “at-will” position and may be terminated, with or without cause, at any time in the sole discretion of the Superintendent or Superintendent’s designee.

The essential functions of the warehouse attendant / driver position include: (1) regular, dependable in-person attendance on the job; (2) the ability to perform the identified tasks and performance responsibilities which require effective teaching and communication skills; and (3) the ability to perform the following identified physical requirements.
